Network Marketing Recruiting – Are You Doing it Right?

If there is one thing you need to know about Network Marketing recruiting, it’s that it dictates your future success. This one act is the heart-and-soul of your strategy. Sorry to say, but if you can’t recruit, you won’t succeed. This means that you won’t be able to reach financial freedom either. While it may sound harsh, it’s true.

If people are telling you that you can make a lot of money through network marketing without recruiting, they are lying to you. In this business, even the best salesperson in the world can’t reach their maximum income potential unless they have a significant number of people working underneath them. Besides, why would you want to work that hard anyway? Wouldn’t you rather master Network Marketing recruiting, build a strong team and let them do all the work so you can spend your days doing whatever you want?

Master Timing

There is a time and place for everything. One of the biggest mistakes people make when it comes to Network Marketing recruiting is that they try to recruit everyone all of the time. Fair enough, you are excited and you want to tell everyone but talking nonstop about your company is not how you recruit. Not to mention, you want to recruit the right prospects, not a bunch of people who feed off your excitement and then never amount to anything.

A good sense of timing is crucial in Network Marketing recruiting. Don’t rush right in because you are in a hurry to sign people up. It’s important to remember that the person asking the questions is ultimately controlling the conversation. If you are doing all the talking and they are squeezing in a question here and there, you have lost control.

In this situation, anyone can see that you are trying to recruit them. On the other hand, if you time your strategy right, ask questions and let them talk, you don’t come across so desperate. They will start to find ways to ask more questions, but don’t reveal too much too soon. They are recruiting themselves.

Don’t be Afraid of Rejection

If you are afraid that someone will reject you, then you are in the wrong business. Everyone is not going to jump on board or get excited about what you have to say. Many are never able to achieve great success because their fear of rejection is so strong. Who cares if someone tells you they don’t want to listen to you? Who are they to you? They are the ones missing out on a fantastic opportunity, right? If anything, you should pity them and then move on to offer your opportunity to someone more appreciative.

Prequalify

The number one rule in Network Marketing recruiting is to prequalify. Do not waste your breath or time to tell someone about your product or company until you are sure that they are worth it.

What are their goals, dreams and plans for the future? Do they have a need or strong desire to make money? If you are not fairly certain that they are driven enough to make you money, don’t invest your time; there are plenty of others who will.
